What’s this?

I got a window-cleaning robot and probably won’t use it more than once a month, so I want it to be a community resource.

How does the bot share work?

  1. Step 1: Book the bot.
  2. Step 2: You’ll get a code to grab the bot + an extension cord.
  3. Step 3: Return it within 2-3 days of use.
  4. Step 4: I’ll clean and get the bot ready for the next home.

Security

Booking info lives in a private database I personally purge on the first of every month. Donations are tracked in aggregate, and no donor names are shown publicly.

What if I damage the bot?
The bot is insured, but just text me — we'll figure it out!
I need to keep the bot longer than I booked
Let me know and I'll see whether the schedule needs adjusting.
What windows does it work on?
Ours! It's meant to deal with windows about 8.66 × 9.84" one windowpane at a time, so you should be covered.
Are donations required?
Not at all. Donations fund replacement pads and cleaning solution, and the ability to donate will be capped / disabled as the supply goals are met for the upcoming month(s).
